If so, this could be your opportunity to join our Manufacturing Engineering department as an Electrical Equipment Engineer within the Equipment Engineering team in Eindhoven.
As an Equipment Engineer (Electronics / Industrial Automation), you will work in multidisciplinary project teams, developing high-tech equipment for the production and advancement of X-ray tubes and system key modules like detectors, at Malvern PANalytical.
You will work on cutting-edge technology, particularly in electronics and machine controls, across a diverse range of applications, including high voltage, high vacuum, nano-ampere measurements, thin-layer deposition, precision positioning, high-frequency soldering, (laser) welding, and industrial automation. You will collaborate closely with internal departments such as Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and operations while also engaging with specialised external companies to further develop machine concepts.
Depending on your experience, you may take on or develop into a project leadership role for the equipment of the future. You possess the ability to delve deep into technical content and are eager to invest in your own growth as well as that of your department. A key part of your role will be to establish an industrial infrastructure where data-driven and interconnected processes can be developed and optimized (Factory 4.0).
Approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to directly supporting production by troubleshooting process and production issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor or (HBO) or master (TU) degree in Electronics / Industrial Automation.
Preferably several years of work experience in an Electronics or Industrial Automation Engineering role.
Experience with software tools such as electronics simulation, PLC, LabVIEW, data acquisition, and data analysis.
Experience in leading projects or the ambition to grow in a role as a project leader
Broad technical interest in software, mechanics, and physics.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Analytical and pragmatic mindset.
Customer-focused and quality-conscious.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in Dutch and English.
Experience with analogue technology and/or high voltage is an advantage.
