SUMMARY
This customer facing role of a Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget utilising the Smartsheet, Salesforce and Ribbon tools. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives, manage budgets and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The role is based in a country within the International Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, India) but travel to other countries and regions will be required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and manage project development from the planning to the closure phase.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Review budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using the available tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
Conduct project closure meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Apply best practices and tools applicable to the various project phases.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent spoken and written English and Filipino.
Familiarity with Indonesian language is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines.
Preferably experience managing IP packet optical projects involving former ECI products.
Five years of direct work experience in a project management capacity.
Basic knowledge of logistics, supply chain, international trade & compliance is a must.
Basic knowledge of Revenue recognition rules will be a plus.
Familiarity with account receivables and payables process is a plus.
PMP or PMI project management certification
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and other departments.
Ability to bring project to successful completion.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to manage escalations and communicate professionally with customers during difficult situations
Able to learn and understand new technologies.
Technically competent with various Microsoft Office software programs, Salesforce and Smartsheet
Open to travel domestic and international as required.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the Philippines.
