Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in the Banking – Commercial Cards domain to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across technology, operations, finance, and compliance. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing large-scale programs, strong regulatory understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for Commercial Card initiatives, including new product launches, platform integrations, and issuing enhancements.
Drive planning, execution, governance, and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary programs involving technology, business processes, and operations.
Apply Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies appropriately based on project needs.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Serve as primary liaison for senior stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors.
Ensure vendor deliverables are aligned with contractual obligations (SOWs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, AML/KYC, and Risk.
Risk, Issue & Regulatory Management
Proactively identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items (RAID).
Ensure project compliance with banking regulations, data privacy standards, and financial reporting requirements (FATCA, CRS, TAX, Payment Network Rules).
Financial Oversight
Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, profitability tracking, and resource allocation.
Ensure financial objectives, ROI, and KPIs are monitored and achieved.
Analysis, Documentation & Governance
Define project scope, business requirements, workflows, and data flows.
Maintain PMO governance standards and ensure high-quality project documentation.
Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status presentations.
Leadership & Best Practices
Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the enhancement of PMO processes.
Champion best practices across Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, and regulatory frameworks.
Required Experience
Total Experience: 10–15 years
Relevant Experience: 10+ years in Banking – Commercial Cards domain
Proven success leading large-scale strategic initiatives in financial services.
Mandatory Skills
Strong Commercial Cards domain expertise
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
Advanced analytical skills (business case, ROI, KPI tracking)
Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and IFRS exposure
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks
Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Advanced Excel, data visualization, ETL familiarity
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills & Certifications
PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, CSM/Scrum Master, ITIL
Experience working with large financial institutions
