MARKETING DIRECTOR
Location: Kuwait (with GCC / regional remit)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Role Type: Full time, senior leadership role responsible for transforming marketing and driving consistent, profitable growth.

Founded over 50 years ago, the company has built a multi-product, multi-category portfolio and established itself as a brand loved across generations. Its strategic priorities include nutritional health and wellbeing, sustainability, regional expansion, and modernisation of marketing, digital commerce and consumer engagement. We seek on their behalf a high calibre Marketing Director to reengineer and lead a transformation of its marketing function, driving profitable growth, regional expansion, and strengthening its position as a sustainable FMCG leader.
Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a forward-looking marketing strategy aligned with business objectives of profitable growth and sustainability.
Lead transformation of the marketing function into a data driven, consumer centric, digital-first growth engine.
Build and empower a high-performing marketing leadership team across brand, trade, digital, customer, and insights.
Drive brand equity elevation, innovation adoption, and portfolio optimisation across categories.
Embed consumer insights and analytics into all key marketing decisions.
Lead digital & e-commerce marketing, CRM, and loyalty programmes.
Drive trade marketing excellence: channel strategies, retail activation, shopper marketing, pricing/promo effectiveness.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing enables growth and strategic priorities.
Champion our clients health & sustainability narrative in all marketing communications.
Manage marketing budget efficiently to maximise ROI and profitable growth.
Lead the change agenda: build marketing capabilities, practices, and culture for next generation marketing.
Key Requirements
Industry & Functional Experience:
10-15 years of progressive marketing experience in Consumer Goods / FMCG (preferably food & beverage or dairy).
5-7 years in senior leadership roles in multi-brand, multi-category environments.
Experience working in the Middle East, with solid knowledge of the Gulf region market is mandatory
Proven track record in brand growth, digital commerce, and transformation.
Strong P&L, trade marketing, and marketing analytics experience.
Hard Skills & Technical Capabilities
Brand strategy, positioning, segmentation, and consumer insight translation.
Marketing analytics, data modelling, ROI measurement.
Digital marketing & e-commerce, CRM, content, influencer strategies.
Trade marketing, channel management, pricing & promotion optimisation.

Education & Credentials
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (required).
MBA or MSc in Marketing (must have).
Certifications in AI, digital marketing, analytics, or sustainability (preferred).
