The City of Portage is looking for a responsible, service-driven individual to join our Senior Center! If you are passionate about supporting others, enjoy physical work, and love being part of a team, then this is your opportunity to make an impact.
What You'll Do:
Provide support for programs, activities, and other special events.
Set up and take down tables and chairs for scheduled events.
Clean rooms between events as needed.
Assist program managers during events as needed.
Welcome members, provide tours, and answer phone calls as needed.
Learn “MySeniorCenter”, a database used for program scheduling and registration
What We're Looking For:
Service-driven employees with the desire and ability to do physical work.
Prior experience with customer service, custodial work, and/or reception work helpful.
Reliable self-starter who works well independently.
Hours: Tuesday – Thursday, 1:30 – 7:30 PM, and rotating Sundays from 2:00- 5:00 PM.
Must be able to meet post-offer conditions of driver’s license check, background check, and drug/alcohol screen.
High school diploma or GED required.
