Knowledge Champions We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid, IE Tower.

Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate Director will involve:

Employer Relations & Business Development

Manage and grow a portfolio of consulting companies (MBB, Big 4, boutiques, etc.).

Build strong relationships with recruiters, alumni, and key contacts in the sector.

Conduct regular meetings and company visits to promote IE and understand hiring needs.

Represent IE at industry events and conferences in Spain and abroad.

Work closely with Marketing to promote sector-related events and activities.

Coordinate employer participation in Career Forums, Consulting Thursdays, company presentations, workshops, and other events.

Create and monitor Account Plans for consulting subsectors.

Gather market insights on trends, recruitment cycles, and talent needs.

Collaborate with internal teams (Consulting Club, Admissions, Faculty, Program Management, Alumni) to align actions.

Track KPIs and prepare reports on activity and impact.

Student Preparation & Support

Organize consulting-focused training, such as case workshops and information sessions.

Manage preparation tools and platforms.

Coordinate activities with the Consulting Club, including treks and networking events.

Deliver workshops on the consulting industry and interview preparation.

Update and promote useful resources for students.

Support the Career Success Advanced consulting track for students.

Collect and analyze employment data and prepare sector reports.

Contribute to rankings, surveys, and institutional reports related to consulting.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Master’s degree from a recognized institution (MBA preferred).

3–5 years of experience in consulting, business development, employer relations, or similar roles.

Strong understanding of the consulting industry and its recruiting processes.

International work experience.

High level of English and Spanish.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Proactive, organized, service-oriented, and results-driven.

Willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with companies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in business development or account management in the consulting sector.

Strong knowledge of case interview preparation.

Experience working in Career Services or in a business school environment.

Proven success supporting candidates in securing consulting job offers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with CRM systems, databases, or marketing tools.
