Purpose of the Job
The BA performs an intermediary role between IT and the business and gathers, interprets, analyses and documents business requirements, as well as identifies and fixes weaknesses in operational processes to enhance the safety of the blood supply in the province.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, analyse and document current and future business processes
Explore ways IT can reduce business costs while improving the business environment
Ascertain and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
Manage and facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
Elicit, understand and document business/user problems & requirements
Help design scalable & flexible systems by studying business requirements & practices
Produce functional specification documentation & user stories
Participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement
Perform Solution Testing and implementation management
