About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Bookkeeping Specialist to handle daily financial operations for a technology manufacturing company in Middlesex County. This role requires managing accounting, payroll, reporting, and administrative functions to support smooth business operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
– Reconcile balance sheets, bank accounts, and inventory transactions
– Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and analyses
– Process journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations
– Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing
– Handle payroll administration, including coordination with external payroll providers
– Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audits
– Generate management reports and dashboards using SAP Business One
– Perform general administrative tasks as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
– 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Full proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1)
– Strong understanding of GAAP principles and cost accounting
– Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
– Experience preparing financial statements and management reports
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and support month-end and year-end close activities
