Your responsibilities will include:

As a Graduate at Lockheed Martin, you will be applying your knowledge and experience using various technologies, tools and processes to develop effective approved solutions. You will participate in, and be exposed to, all stages of the engineering lifecycle, adopting a systems based approach to engineering. Some of your practical duties will include:

Designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging software products that contains logical and mathematical solutions to customer mission problems.

Being actively engaged in the planning, conduct and coordination of professional software development activities.

Building, sharing and applying knowledge of computer hardware and software frameworks and methods to develop software.

Collaborating to ensure professional software processes and standards applicable to the mission domain are met. This is an expression of interest, not all applicants will be contacted.

About you:

You will have either recently completed or be completing your tertiary level software engineering or computer science qualification by July 2026 and have gained the following experience & competencies throughout your study.

Understanding of relevant technologies and domains within software engineering

Computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse and interpret reports

Basic to intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications

Understanding of principles, theories and concepts and ability to apply these to solve problems

We look for graduates with outstanding communication skills who have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
