License Compliance Manager/Senior Manager

Intelligent Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and self-driven License Compliance/ Anti-piracy Manager to lead and grow an anti-piracy enforcement program for China and other Mandarin speaking countries. Candidate will ideally have knowledge of or experience in the CAM space.

Responsibilities:

Lead anti-piracy enforcement activities across China and Mandarin speaking countries.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and legal partners to pursue settlements with unlicensed software users.

Work strategically to grow pirate users into legitimate repeat paying customers.

Monitor pirate use using internal detection tools and generate the development of pursuable leads.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, or related fields.

Experience: 5-7+/7-12+ years in license compliance and/or anti-piracy enforcement fields.

Must have track record of managing anti-piracy investigations and discussing commercial settlements for software vendors in China.

Experience and knowledge of working with local law enforcement agencies and external enforcement vendors in China.

Highly desirable if candidate has experience with the CAM/CNC software industry.

Excellent communications and negotiations ability.

Superior proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Proficiency in English.

Ability to understand piracy data and evidence.

Desirable if candidate has experience working with software compliance/anti-piracy phone home vendors (e.g. Revenera, Cylynt, ITCA, SCG, CJCH).

Self-driven and ability to work independently.

Ability to coach and develop potential future team.
