Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Sidney, OH 45365 (Ohio healthcare job)

Facility Setting: Acute Care – Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Float

Assignment Type: Travel RN contract

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)

Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)

Hours per Week: 36

Orientation: 16 hours

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Ohio

At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required

First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Ability to float within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in the acute care setting

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process

Float to other units within the hospital or affiliate hospitals as required for clinical support

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
