Choctaw Nation Kitchen Maintenance Position

You will help maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly kitchen to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the food and beverage operations. Primary tasks include:

Thoroughly cleaning equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.

Washing pots, pans, and traps while maintaining the neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.

Cleaning and disinfecting walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas.

Cleaning and replacing floor mats.

Supporting the dish room, operating dish machine.

Emptying and cleaning garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen.

Performing other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job requirements:

Must obtain a SERV Safe Certification.

Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS.

Understand government public health and, or safety regulations.

Verbalize and respond to guests and fellow coworkers.

General computer/keyboarding skills.
