Commercial Marine Field Service Technician Rotational

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Morgan City, LA. will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics

Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality

Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.

Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.

Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.

Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS

Keep Company credit card expenses up to date

Keep driver license, TWIC, passport up to date

Have all service reports and time turned in daily

Must have appropriate hand tools in line with job description
