This position is for multiple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) openings across various locations, allowing you to apply to the location that suits you best. Please note, this is not a Float Pilot position.
Competitive Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720
Possible Geographic Modifier: Up to 27%, based on location
Sign-On Bonus: $15K
Retention Bonus: $40K after three years
On-Duty Housing Available at Most Locations
7/7 Work Schedule for Most Positions
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure safe transport of customers.
Prepare aircraft for flight, adhering to FAA and Med-Trans standards, including cleanliness.
Maintain accurate paperwork and regulatory documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
Provide essential shift information following protocols for smooth team transitions.
Stay current with required certifications and ongoing training.
Minimum Qualifications (VFR Position):
Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate
Helicopter Instrument Rating
Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
Minimum of 2,000 Total Flight Hours
At least 1,500 Helicopter Flight Hours
1,000 Hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in Helicopters
1,000 Turbine Helicopter Flight Hours
200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
