The Program Director will be responsible for the overall program and administrative oversight and monitoring of clients at our Re*entry Program. The incumbent will lead to ensure all services are consistent with the mission of BLACK and meet contract, funding, and/or accreditation requirements. Additional duties will include supervising program staff, conducting individual and group interventions, maintain programming, assess needs, make referrals, develop resources, and maintain good records.
Supervise and manage a team of Workforce Development Coordinators and Case Managers, provide coaching and development opportunities (i.e. annual evaluations) for staff per HR guidelines- Manage grant-funded projects (i.e. collect data and prepare reports to ensure programs meet contractual, grant requirements) and ensure they are implemented within scope and within budget- Ensure that supervised staff are meeting project outcomes as required by various funding sources. Enforce quality assurance protocols by conducting monthly case file audits, fiscal audits, and sub-recipient/vendor monitoring Maintain statistical data and tracking information for assigned and/or new grant requirements.
Audit records and utilize databases (i.e. SecurManage, ECimpact) to ensure compliance with grant requirements- Develop relationships and partnerships with community-based organizations, government entities and correctional programs- Prepare monthly CQI reports of all reentry services and programs to track service utilization, program completion rates, and participation rates. Assist/Lead staff meetings with input from the Executive Director and Director of Operations. Perform other related duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field required. Masters degree preferred. Previous supervisory and management experience is required
Candidates must live in the United States and preferably in the Chicagoland area.
