Job Title: Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care

Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Davenport, Iowa! This position offers the opportunity to work alongside 4 other experienced physicians in a facility located on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River. With a capacity of 500 beds and a dedicated 20-bed ICU, the practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and trauma care to the community. Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient, outpatient, and ICU care with shared call responsibilities.

Manage up to 20 ICU patients daily with nurse practitioner support.

Conduct procedures including chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis.

Supervise and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Engage in comprehensive documentation using Cerner EMR.

Care for various pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.

Participate in purchasing and implementing pulmonary rehabilitation and diagnostic tests.

Facilitate continuous educational development and professional growth. Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine (must have plans to test).

Completed fellowship in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine (new graduates are welcome).

Demonstrated experience with various pulmonary procedures and treatments.

Clean malpractice history preferred. License and Certification Requirements:

Current Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain one.

ACLS certification is required.

State experience with critical conditions and procedures is necessary.
