Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Join our team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Coos Bay, Oregon! Our facility is a 127-bed Level III Trauma hospital and serves as the largest healthcare provider on the Southern Coast of Oregon, catering to a catchment area of over 320,000 residents. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and are looking for a cardiologist to contribute to our growing cardiology services. Job Responsibilities:

Conduct clinic rotations from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with shared call responsibilities including weekends.

Provide full-spectrum non-invasive cardiology services to both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Evaluate and manage cardiac disease processes.

Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and perform cardiac nuclear imaging.

Provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals.

Collaborate with other medical specialties as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Educate patients and families about medications, health, and illness prevention.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in physician meetings and policy formation.

Remain current with continuing medical education (CME) activities. Qualifications:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.

Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.

Strong preference for candidates who are Nuclear and Echo certified.

Must have a clean malpractice history and background.

Demonstrated ties to Oregon through family or prior residency. License and Certification Requirements:

Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain).

DEA certification must be obtained prior to starting the position.

NPDB self-query report must be submitted.
