Sewing Attendant

Overview:

$17.85/ hour

18+ earns $17.85 / hour, applicants that are 17 years of age earn $17.10 / hour. Candidates must be a minimum age of 17.

This is a seasonal position that is vacant and starts mid January and goes until early May 2026.

Responsibilities:

Perform alterations and repairs to uniform items including: hemming pants; cresting garments; altering garment sizes; reinforcing seams; and repairs to damaged uniform items.

Assist with associate uniform fittings

Perform special sewing projects for park operation such as heavy-duty stitching, special design items, and worn material repair

Perform laundry duties

Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

You

Previous sewing related experience required

Experience with industrial machines is required (i.e. straight stitch, blind stitch, serger, and walking foot machines and machine embroidery)

Demonstrate a professional manner

Good verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Detail/quality oriented and self-motivated

Highly organized and flexible

Able to work "ON CALL" 1- 3 shifts per week and during weekends. Flexible to work early morning and evenings shifts.

Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
