a Place to Use Your Gifts and Talents

What talent, gifts or passions do have just waiting to be shared with others. There is a need for volunteers to come along side those who on their end-of-life journey home and receiving hospice care. Do you paint and love to craft? We have patients requesting for someone to come to them since they are usually homebound and spend some time doing an art or craft project with them. Do you have a license to cut and style hair in Oklahoma? We have patients who no longer are able to get out and get their hair cut and are requesting help. Do you play the guitar and or sing? We have patients who would love to sing some old favorites with you and maybe learn a new song. Do you have a passion for poems or books and would like to read to someone with a low vision difficulty who cannot see to read? To you like to sit in the outdoors and listen to the birds? There are people longing for companionship and are requesting help with their loneliness. If you would like more information regarding volunteering for those in great need, please contact me and I will be happy to answer your questions. We have an amazing volunteer team, and you may just find your new purpose.
