Basic Purpose of the Job

The CSSD Technician is responsible for the decontamination process, cleaning, sorting, preparation, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and the distribution of equipment and medical devices.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

Previous central sterilization preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of medical terminology
