Position Overview
Earn more, work less, and keep your weekends free. Our 2nd Shift Skilled Industrial Painter role gives you a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday), a 30-minute paid lunch, and a $2/hour shift differential for evening hours. You’ll enjoy long weekends, steady work, and a quieter shop environment that lets you focus on quality finishes from start to flawless delivery.
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM, with a paid lunch break. You’ll prepare and finish industrial equipment, machinery, and structures using hand and power tools, following blueprints, work orders, data sheets, and instructions. Duties include maintaining and operating painting equipment, ensuring every project meets strict quality standards. If you’re skilled in industrial painting and ready to make the most of your time and talent, this is the shift for you.
This position must be flexible and willing to work extended hours, and Saturdays as needed.
What You'll Do
Work 2nd Shift (4:00 PM–2:00 AM)
Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment
Read, understand, and accurately execute work orders, product data sheets, and quality assurance (QA) standards per job requirements
Paint industrial structures according to specifications, industrial standards, work orders, and other instructions with various paint spraying equipment
Mix paint components in their proper ratios per data sheets
Lead and mentor Industrial Painter I’s
Working Conditions
Stand for long periods of time, talk, hear, read, and write
Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms, kneel, lie down, climb ladders and/or scaffolding.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Breathe effectively while wearing a respirator and face mask
Wear protective coveralls in excessive heat
What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience and thorough knowledge of industrial painting worksite safety, coatings, and surface preparation or relevant experience preferred
Proficient with a variety of paint and painting techniques
Proficient with painting tools such as sling psychrometers, wet mill gauges, dry mill thickness gauges, etc.
Must be dependable, trustworthy, possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work independently or in a team environment
