Truck Driver

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Operate Tractor and Trailer equipment in compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations for private fleet.

Must possess Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement a plus.

Pass background check.

Pass all pre-employment and periodic physicals and drug screens.

Clean driving record.

Good time management, organizational, and communication skills.

Safety-focused team player with a positive attitude.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPOSIBILITIES:

Safely transporting freight between various locations over long distances, have knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Perform equipment inspections before and after each trip to ensure that there are no safety or mechanical issues.

Carefully plan routes, that avoid traffic, delays, or unnecessary tolls, to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.

Communicate with customers in a professional manner regarding delivery times and other arrangements, including obtaining signatures upon delivery.

Ensure customer receiving teams only unload the number of items per the bill of laden. Call Logistics Manager of any issues.

Ensure load is secured before leaving for next stop to prevent damage.

Follow all WinTech Logistics Policy.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years’ experience required, 5 or more years preferred
