Group Downstream Finance Senior Data Analyst

Scope of the position:

Here, you'll immerse yourself in comprehensive financial processes, playing a crucial part in shaping the frameworks in the area of data management and report automation for Group Downstream Finance. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Group DS Finance processes.

Your tasks will be:

Understand MOL Group financial processes and Downstream business’ operation

Support the Group Downstream Finance IT Roadmap execution and ensure the integration of the proposed and delivered solutions into Group Downstream Finance processes

Streamline existing reporting processes and identify new reporting opportunities and develop innovative dashboards and analytics solutions

Follow and understand modern operational solutions, benchmarks and industry trends of data management and reporting tools to be able apply in the daily work

Act as a key contact for various Downstream business areas and Downstrean Finance teams, supporting collaboration across units regarding data management and report automation

What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence and innovation.

Educational Background: You have a University or College degree in finance/controlling/IT or equivalent

Professional Experience: At least 5+ years working experience within financial controlling, reporting, business analyst roles, with advanced knowledge of corporate finance

Skills:

Advanced Excel proficiency (especially formulas, functions, pivot tables), familiarity with tools like Thinkcell, Power Query is a plus

Experience with Data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud,)

Ability to configure and optimize for performance and scalability

Ability to use custom visuals and templates for specific reporting needs

Strong data-modeling skills to design efficient schema for relational databases

Ability to craft and optimize data models to ensure accurate and efficient reporting

Analytical thinking

Proactivity with a problem solving mindset

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
