You'll be responsible for performing all general maintenance of rides in order to provide a safe environment for guests and team members alike. We're looking to you to make sure our rides are good to go! You will:

Conduct daily ride inspections

Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services

Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment

Provide excellent service to guests and team members

Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations

Perform arc and gas welding, metal cutting and metal repair for all park USA properties.

Assist with the layout and repair of metal equipment necessary for park operation.

Always Execute welding safety and to comply with hot permit policy.

What it takes to succeed:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a park driver's license

Be certified in "4G" 3/8 plate and working toward a "6G" pipe certification.

At least 3 years of experience working with torches, flame welding, inert gas welding, electric arc welding required.

Have a working knowledge of all welding aspects.

Should have a basic knowledge of metal types.

General knowledge of gases and their safe application.

Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Ability to provide and use basic hand tools

Ability to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification

Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds

Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities

Ability to walk uphill and work on heights above 150 feet

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather

Flexibility in working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
