About the job Radiology Technologist (Xray Technician)
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in our Clarkrange facility. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform imaging procedures including X-rays, CTs, and PET scans according to established protocols
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
Prepare and position patients, clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
Follow strict infection control and radiation safety protocols
Collaborate with physicians to determine the best imaging approach for each patient
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient histories
Stay up to date on advancements in radiologic technology Qualifications & Skills:
Solid understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
Proficient in operating CT equipment, especially in trauma care settings
Experience or familiarity with nuclear medicine is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
