Donation Station Attendant

Our Donation Station Attendants exceed donor expectations by providing exceptional service. In this position, you will play a key role in representing the charity, ensuring every donor has positive experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service

Assist with receiving and recording donations

Safeguard donations until collected

Maintain a clean and organized donation site

Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies

Place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner

Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose

Qualifications:

Demonstrated customer service skills

Planning and organizational skills

Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently

Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly

Good communication skills, oral and written

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers

Must be at least 18 years old

Willing to submit to a background and drug screening

Education, Experience, Training Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
