Referral Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for a hands-on, temp-to-hire opportunity in Chaseburg, WI. You'll join a fast-paced, fully automated dairy production facility where your expertise keeps the butter flowing-literally.

The Night Maintenance Technician position follows a 12-hour rotating schedule, 6 pm - 6 am, giving you built-in long weekends and an unmatched work-life balance. You'll alternate between 5-day weekends off, working either Shift A or Shift B:

Shift A: Monday & Tuesday + every other Friday-Sunday

Shift B: Wednesday & Thursday + every other Friday-Sunday

Pay: $25.82-$31.30/hour

Plus: $1.00/hour premium for nights (6 pm-6 am) and weekends

As a Night Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot and repair everything from robotics and pasteurizers to ammonia refrigeration and wastewater systems. This role blends mechanical, electrical, and controls work, and no two shifts are ever the same.

You'll collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance in a 24/7 dairy processing environment. You'll also use tools like Limble CMMS to track your work and keep things running like clockwork.

What You Bring to the Table:

3+ years in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance

Strong knowledge of 480 VAC, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and VFDs

The ability to read schematics and use meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools

A commitment to safety, food quality, and teamwork

Willingness to rotate on-call and wear PPE when required

A high school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus Even better if you have:

Experience with ammonia systems, boilers, robotics (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc), or sanitary welding-but we're happy to train the right person!
