McBride Homes is seeking a talented Architect to join our architecture team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential designs, a passion for innovation, and strong leadership skills. As an Architect, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of residential project designs, collaborating with internal clients, designers, engineers, and the construction staff. This is an in-office position located in our new state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley.

Salary: $65,000-$110,000/yr. depending on experience and an annual discretionary bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design and development of residential architectural projects from concept to completion

Develop detailed architectural plans, construction drawings, and specifications

Coordinate with in-house land development, design, estimating, purchasing, engineers, and field staff

Proficiency in CAD software and ability to teach software libraries and efficiencies

Quality control of all work by others and self-performed work

Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field

1-10+ years of experience in residential design or related field

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar

Knowledge of residential design principles and building codes

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
