Job Summary/Basic Function
Gain experience coordinating and marketing programming designed for adult learners in this part-time graduate assistant role in the office of Graduate Studies and Adult Learning. Assist with the promotion of summer and winter course offerings for all students. Enhance your data collection and analysis skills as we track enrollment trends and compile participant feedback.
Required Qualifications
Graduate Assistants must be enrolled in a Millersville University graduate program; non-degree students and those only seeking post-baccalaureate certification are not eligible.
Part-time Graduate Assistants must be enrolled in and maintain a minimum of 3 credits in Fall and Spring semesters.
Preferred Qualifications
Available to schedule some additional work hours (paid at an hourly rate) during summer and winter to support the office and our Summer Institute programs is preferred.
Background in graphic arts / digital communications with ability to create professional-quality marketing materials that comply with university standards is preferred.
Job Duties
-Support the announcement of summer and winter course registration periods to enhance enrollments; craft email for broadcast, create and schedule digital advertising materials.
-Provide customer service, replying to inquiries from students.
-Maintain and update databases. Track enrollment trends and analyze data.
-Create marketing materials (flyers and digital media) and maintain website to advertise Summer Institute programming. Coordinate messaging to announce these opportunities to regional K-12 school district partners.
-Collect participant feedback and create summary reports; compile and analyze data to inform program improvements.
-Collaborate with university partners to schedule social media placements and other digital advertisement of our programs.
-Create and update forms and review processes which are in the purview of this office.

Graduate Assistant payment and hours guidelines
Graduate Assistants must work 150 hours (PT) per semester.
Stipends are paid 8 payments throughout the semester and are paid bi-weekly according to the payroll schedule.
Graduate Assistants (who are not on an F-1 visa) may work 10/20 extra hours per week in addition to the required hours for the position for a total of 30 hours a week.
Graduate Assistants who are on an F-1 visa are only permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during academic sessions (spring and fall semesters); there may be opportunity to work during school breaks over 20 hours a week, which would be compensated at an hourly rate.
Graduate Assistants must meet all eligibility requirements as detailed in GA Guidelines. Documents needed:
