Hardy Family Ford is looking for an Automotive Trim and Electrical Finish Service Technician to join our growing team!
The right candidate will have a strong automotive electrical wiring and general service technician background, with ASE & Ford certifications preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done for interior trim and electrical features.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
Remove and reinstall vehicle interiors while maintaining OEM standards
Install 12V systems, wiring, and electrical components such as radios, lights, mounts, and mobile computers
Read and apply basic wiring diagrams and installation guides
Drill, crimp, route, and secure electrical connections as required by the project scope
Ensure quality and accuracy of each installation and verify project components
Coordinate with internal team to meet client specifications and timelines
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
Automotive wiring and general automotive technician experience required
Hands-on experience with electrical systems or mechanical installation
Basic understanding of 12V automotive circuits
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus
Ford Certification a plus
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
