Position Summary

We are seekingdedicated and compassionate School Aides to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in a specialeducation setting. Under the supervision of the special education department,classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, the School Aide will assist increating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

In addition toclassroom support, the School Aide may provide personal care services includingphysical mobility assistance and therapeutic care, as directed by licensedhealth professionals.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years of age

Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Adherence to professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

Ideal Candidate

Passionate about supporting students with diverse needs

Comfortable working in a special education classroom

Able to assist with minor behavioral redirection and engagement strategies

Team-oriented and proactive in supporting lead teachers and staff
