Responsibilities:
• Engage in technical discussions with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify design requirements and ensure deliverables meet project standards.
• Review and verify the accuracy and quality of design deliverables based on the individual's expertise across structural, outfitting, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Collaborate with discipline leads, project managers, and team members to ensure cohesive project execution and efficient cross-functional communication.
• Follow established quality management protocols, using checklists, folder organization and tools to maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Markups shall follow industry standard practices and shall focus on corrections and changes required.
• Identify and address discrepancies in designs, raising scheduling or resource concerns when necessary to managements and to aid in alignment of project schedule.
• Ensure design deliverables meet industry codes and standards, including ABS, DNV, API, and AISC requirements.
• Coordinate the timely submission and approval of drawing submittals to align with project schedules and milestones.
• Provide input to project leads and managers regarding design challenges and recommendations for improvement.
