Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring a DEAMS Training and Deployment Analyst to join our team working in support of the Deployment and Training Team for the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) contract. This person will provide on-site support to deploy DEAMS to new users and also deploy new DEAMS capabilities to current users. This position interacts with Air Force major commands and bases in support of the worldwide sustainment and day-to-day operations of DEAMS. In addition to demonstrated functional and technical expertise with DEAMS, this role requires someone who is a self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
Act as the initial DEAMS FMO representative to the deploying bases, briefing the Base POC, RAs, etc., on DEAMS and the planned deployment to their base
Assist with base Site Profile distribution and collection of end user and financial data; analyze the data, organize, and participate in site visits
Support DFAS and AF (AD, AFRC and ANG) DEAMS end users in registering for DEAMS and assist in identifying required training
Facilitate user set-up and assignment of system Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate training activities with DEAMS Formal Training and assigned bases
Manage comprehensive checklist of deployment and cutover tasks
Provide targeted assistance to users based on DEAMS metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis
Provide ad hoc and on-the-job training to DEAMS users via telephone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit (when local), to include general training for new users and functional problem areas
Collect and submit deployment related metrics
Facilitate and promote Strategic Communications and Change Management activities
Assist with DEAMS Discoveries and Lessons Learned activities at the deployed base
Deployment SMEs will assist MCSMEs and other DEAMS functional business areas as required
Provide support to the DEAMS Help Desk including surge and end of year processes Qualifications required include:
U.S. citizenship
Current Secret clearance
Master's Degree
10+ years of demonstrated experience working with Air Force Financial Management systems including:
2+ years of overall experience MUST include direct functional and technical expertise using DEAMS
Experience in AF Funds Control Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, Government Purchase Card, or Defense Finance and Accounting Service
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with other Air Force Financial Management authoritative data sources such as General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS), Automated Funds Management (AFM), Automated Budget Interactive Data Management System (ABIDES), and Financial Management Data Quality Service (FMDQS)
Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Access, as well as the ability to create and use PivotTables and complex functions
Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers
Effective written and verbal communication skills to exceed in a blended government and contractor team environment
Able and willing to travel up to one-third of the schedule as part of DEAMS Deployment and to support sustainment activities for MAJCOM of assignment Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of AF Financial Management legacy systems such as:
Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS)
Standard Base Supply System (SBSS)
Standard Materiel Accounting System (SMAS)
General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS)

Salary:
JTEC offers competitive compensation and benefits to all employees. Salaries are dependent upon a wide range of factors including position requirements, customer/program needs, individual qualifications, education, experience, certification and/or training, location, and other job related factors.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $97,000 per year
