Research & Engineering: CEC Data Analyst

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

Associates are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.

SUMMARY:

This role is required to work with leadership to conduct data analysis related to toxic chemicals and research about contaminants of emerging concern to create an internal database.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research about contaminants of emerging concern

Expand an internal database with toxic chemicals

Using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to company Executives.

Research large data sets to find usable information.

Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients.

Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience)

Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, or related sciences.

Experience in research.

Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.
