AMT Medical Assistant / LPN - PRN

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.

Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.

Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits by maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical records.

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly.

Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and admissions.

Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, ensuring all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, clean, and sterile.

Distribute patient education materials and confirm patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.

Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic clinical environment. Education and Experience Required:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
