Fabrication Manager

Our client, a leading specialty industrial manufacturer in the Greater New Orleans area, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead their sheet metal fabrication and machine shop operations. This full-time role is responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, driving process improvements, and supervising department supervisors and shop personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations in fabrication and machining

Lead, train, and develop team members

Ensure adherence to safety (OSHA) and quality standards

Optimize workflows and implement efficiency improvements

Monitor KPIs and coordinate with other departments Qualifications:

15+ years in fabrication/manufacturing, including 8 years in a leadership role

Hands-on knowledge with a variety of CNC machines and other fabrication equipment

Proficiency in blueprint reading & programming CNC controls

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
