Show Me CenterPart-Time, Variable Shifts
Position Available/Potential Start Date: 7/26/25
Primary Responsibilities:
Enforce Show Me Center facility policies to create a safe and enjoyable experience for facility guests
Prevent the unauthorized entry of prohibited items
Conduct security checks through the utilization of weapons detectors and bag searches
Monitor crowd flow and manage potential disturbances
Direct foot traffic and manage lines
Serve guests in a gracious and accommodating manner; resolve guest issues
Maintain clear communication with other security personnel, event coordinators, and guests
Address disruptive or unruly behavior
Ensure a safe environment during and after events, including assisting with cleanup and breakdown
Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
Ability to address situations quickly and make sound decisions
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of people
Ability to identify potential security risks and hazards
Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
Ability to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior security experience is a plus
