Commercial Appliance Service Technician

Location: Jamestown, NY

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 Full-time

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team! Want to drive a company van home and represent a team that values you as more than just a number? Once skill levels are achieved, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration & more.

Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Cooking Equipment

Work safely and ethically, be honest and committed in your work

Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism

Complete service calls in a timely manner

Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales

Participate in normal rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty

Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts

Maintain service vehicle in accordance with recommended service intervals

Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork completely

Attend remote and in person Training Sessions Minimum Requirements:

Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills

Problem solver

Strong customer communication skills

100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized

Computer literacy

Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.

Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.

Must be at least 18 yrs of age

We will train for job specific repairs and equipment Desired Characteristics:

Two years of cooking equipment service (or related military) experience

Refrigeration/ HVAC experience

EPA 608 Certification

CFESA Certification and Factory training Benefits of Employment:
