Position: Paraprofessional / Aide

Qualifications:

• Must have demonstrated proficiency either through college coursework (60 credit hours) or Workkeys test to be highly qualified for the classroom

• Knowledge of Autism and Behavior Management preferred

• Exhibit patience and willingness to work with children

• Exhibit emotional stability and physical stamina necessary for meeting the requirements of the position

• Clear criminal and professional background check

Responsibilities:

• Provide small group assistance in all academic "core" subjects

• Work effectively under the immediate direction of a regular classroom teacher

• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding all students

• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Strategically plan with teachers lessons that will meet the individual needs of students

Salary: $15.00 per hour
