Description
Atlantic Cape Community College seeks qualified adjunct instructors to deliver high quality instruction at our three full-service campuses and through distance education. If you are qualified to teach at Atlantic Cape, your materials will be maintained in a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching opportunities arise throughout the academic year, you may be contacted by the College for an interview.
Compensation: $780 per contact hour

Basic Pharmacology
Nutrition
Public Health
Medical Terminology
Introduction to Health ScienceExamples of Duties:
Preparing and presenting course materials following collegiate and departmental standards
Regular communication with students, department, and college community
Grading, attendance, and reporting as required
Participation in course and programmatic assessment
Utilization of Blackboard Ultra LMS and integration of course materials where applicable
Typical Qualifications
Typical Qualifications:
In most disciplines a masters degree is required. For some disciplines instructors may
be hired with a bachelor's degree and/or appropriate experience.

Qualified educational degree can be in a specific teaching area OR include appropriate coursework in a teaching area.
Relevant licensure preferred but not required.
Tuition Waiver - adjuncts may enroll for one credit course, tuition-free, during any semester they are teaching.
Paid sick leave in accordance with the NJ Paid Sick Leave Law
is a defined contribution retirement program for adjuncts. Adjuncts contribute 5% of base salary and the college contributes 8% of base salary. There are seven State-authorized ABP investment carriers. Life insurance benefits through ABP are payable to the beneficiary at 3.5X the member's salary.
