The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Molloy University invites applications for introductory courses in mathematics starting Fall 2026.

The adjunct faculty members are responsible for:

Teach assigned mathematics courses as scheduled.

Prepare course materials and assessments in accordance with department standards.

Maintain accurate student records, including grades and attendance.

Provide timely feedback and support to students.

Participate in required training or meetings as needed. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to relate well to a diverse population of community learners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in mathematics or a closely related field

Experience in teaching introductory courses such as Elementary Statistics and Pre- Calculus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. in Mathematics

SALARY INFORMATION

When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as discipline specific knowledge, skills, education and experience as well as internal and external equity. The salary range for this position is $1,175.00 per credit (Undergraduate Instructor). This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
