Armed Security Officer with Security Clearance

Position Summary: Join our team as an Armed Security Officer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of high-profile sites. Under the guidance of the site Manager, you will perform a variety of security-related tasks that are essential to maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and report on activities and incidents at assigned locations to protect client property, visitors, and personnel.

Respond appropriately to unusual or emergency situations, including the use of armed response when necessary.

Enforce regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and premises while maintaining order and security.

Control access to the facility through thorough visitor processing and admission procedures.

Conduct regular patrols on foot or in a vehicle, identifying and addressing safety hazards and security violations.

Prepare detailed logs and reports as required, ensuring accurate documentation of incidents.

Operate security equipment, including firearms, as per post assignment requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship preferred.

Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Fluency in English, with the ability to write coherent reports.

At least two years of armed security experience within the past five years, or two years of military service.

Pass a medical examination, drug test, and physical agility test as applicable.

Must be able to obtain a government Secret Clearance.

Additional Information:

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, involving exposure to various weather conditions.

Shift work is required, with the possibility of extended periods on post.

Wage range for this position is $16.20 - $41.70, with additional health and welfare benefits.
