Sr Photographer (Freelance)

Work is in the Washington, D.C. area.

Requires ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualified candidate must have creative eye and the ability to render artistic vision into a compelling image. Self-motivated with ability to work alone. Work may be on-location in or outside of the Washington metropolitan area or in a studio setting. Expertise in digital and analog photography equipment and photography-related computer programs. Typesstyles of photography include: Law enforcement/criminal justice/corrections; product/still life; studio portraiture; conceptual/special effects; editorial/journalism; press events. Events may include: public relations, press releases, conferences, government director visits, and other entities.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent portfolio

• Strong demonstrated creative eye, sense of design

• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently

• Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities

• Thorough knowledge of digital camera equipment, lighting equipment, lenses, and other essentials photography tools

• Knowledge of lighting and lighting techniques

• Experience in photo editing using Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop

• Must have own equipment

Education and experience: Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience
