Electrical Assembly Technician

As an early Neros employee, you will get to help decide the direction of our future. We are looking for someone who will work closely with engineers and technicians to assemble electronics, solder printed circuit board assemblies and build harnesses to a high standard. Other responsibilities include:
Hand soldering of electronic components including surface mount technology
Mechanical assembly of precision electronics, RF and optical components
Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and schematics
Inspection of solder joints to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
You should have the following:
High school diploma and 5+ years of experience with hand soldering
Familiarity with aerospace standards including IPC-J-STD-001 certification
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work with a microscope
Ability to handle small parts
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Able to sit for long periods of time
Strong verbal and written communication skills
US Salary Range
$20.00 - $45.00 per hour USD
The hourly range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
