Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Roadmap
Develop and execute the company-wide AI transformation strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Partner with executive leadership and department heads to identify and prioritize AI-driven initiatives.
Build a financial and operational plan detailing the impact of AI initiatives.
Opportunity Identification & Solution Design
Analyze workflows across underwriting, claims, customer service, and marketing to identify automation opportunities.
Design and validate AI use cases, such as automated claims processing, fraud detection, personalized customer recommendations, and workflow optimization.
Implementation & Change Management
Lead the piloting and scaling of AI solutions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
Champion an "AI+ mindset" through training, workshops, and the establishment of departmental AI champions.
Oversee integration of AI applications into existing systems and ensure seamless adoption across business units.
Governance, Compliance & Ethics
Establish robust data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks for all AI deployments.
Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor AI system performance, optimize models, and report on progress to leadership.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, NLP, and related technologies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence through digital transformation
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development, digital transformation, or technology strategy, ideally within insurance services
Proven track record of leading end-to-end AI projects and driving operational change in complex organizations.
Deep understanding of machine learning, NLP, predictive modeling, and data analytics.
Proficiency with AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Azure, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of insurance industry operations, regulatory environment, and digital trends.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
Experience with governance, compliance, and ethical AI deployment is highly desirable.
