Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Trim Carpenter - Retail Construction Projects
Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking a Trim Carpenter to support retail construction projects with a focus on finish carpentry and detailed craftsmanship. This role involves working on new store builds, remodels, and acquisitions, ensuring consistent, efficient, and safe retail environments.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing assistance with new store construction trim, equipment installation, repair and maintenance, and general carpentry for retail projects to help the company grow and to help retail achieve their goals.
Assist with equipment installation, calibration, and removal at retail locations.
Interpret building plans, CAD drawings, and sketches to complete projects accurately.
Collaborate with construction superintendents, contractors, and tradespeople to meet project timelines.
Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards in accordance with Kwik Trip and OSHA guidelines.
Conduct demolition, repairs, and general carpentry tasks as needed.
Travel to various job sites and complete work independently or as part of a team. Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in carpentry, maintenance, or related trades.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and operating tools and vehicles. Additional Details:
Frequent overnight travel required; this is a traveling position with varying job site locations.
