Job Overview - Athletic Trainer:

Compensation: $62,000 - $68,000/year

Location: Hershey, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)

Our client is hiring an Athletic Trainer in Hershey, PA, to deliver injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes of all ages. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, manage acute injuries, and support long-term recovery while collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, and coaches. This is a full-time opportunity within a healthcare setting dedicated to improving patient outcomes, enhancing athletic performance, and promoting community health.

Responsibilities as the Athletic Trainer:

Injury Prevention & Care: Develop and implement prevention programs while providing immediate care for acute injuries.

Evaluation & Treatment: Perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate referrals when necessary.

Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.

Education: Guide athletes, families, and coaches on conditioning, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play practices.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and progress to support effective care planning. Qualifications for the Athletic Trainer:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program required.

Licensure: Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine as an Athletic Trainer.

Certification: Current BOC certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an athletic trainer, with exposure to both clinical and field settings.

Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
