Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 + Bonus (Total Comp = $73,500-$104,500)

Mechanical and Plumbing Estimator (Commercial Construction) Description

Our client is seeking a Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator to join their team in Belleview, FL. In this role, you will prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, site data, vendor quotes, and subcontractor information. You'll play a key role in supporting profitable business decisions through strong analytical insight and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical or plumbing systems, preferably with hands-on field experience, and a proven ability to interpret complex plans and deliver accurate cost analyses. Mechanical and Plumbing Estimator (Commercial Construction) Responsibilities

• Review plans/specs and addenda for accurate scopes

• Perform detailed M&P takeoffs and quantify costs

• Solicit, analyze, and level vendor/sub bids

• Prepare complete proposals and bid packages

• Lead internal bid reviews with PM/engineering

• Maintain pricing database and historical metrics

• Drive value engineering and scope alternates

• Track RFIs/addenda; align scope and inclusions

Mechanical and Plumbing Estimator Qualifications

• 1+ years of Mechanical and/or Plumbing Estimating experience required

• Commercial Construction Projects experience required

• Knowledge of mechanical codes and construction sequencing required

• Estimating software experience required
