About the role

TheWastewaterTechnicianIIis a mid-level position within the IndustrialWastewater operations at ReworldWaste. TheWastewaterTechnicianIIwill be experienced and capable to conduct industrialwastewater treatment on allwaterstreams utilizing the various technologies and chemicals available to them independently. TheWastewaterTechnicianIIwill also be adept in petroleum recovery operations. TheWastewaterTechnicianIIwill be proficient inwastestream sampling, tanker transfers,wastestream QA/QC, bench testing,wastestream treat code assignments, batchwastewater treatment, and basic petroleum recovery operations. TheWastewaterTechnicianIIwill be mechanically inclined to liquids management and troubleshoots for transfer operations. TheWastewaterTechnicianIIalso be cross trained to conduct sludge press operations, tank wash, and non-bulk operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic chemical analysis such as pH, flash point, FOG, solids, PCB, Halogen, ICP-MS, and ammonia.

Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, yard dog, high vac trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Sampling tanker trucks and containers.

Using a hose connection and unloading of tanker trucks.

Performingwastestream QA/QC & lab analysis.

Performing oil line andwastewater treatment line operations.

Submit all associated paperwork, as required, for regulatory and safety record keeping requirements.

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED required

1-2 years of experience

Boiler license preferred

Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift over 50 pounds

Ability to pass respirator fit test

40-hour HAZWOPER certification

First aid/CPR/AED certification

Confined space entry certification

Experience in NetSuite

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The expected salary range for this position is $50,700 - $63,363

This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
