Southern Lawn & Pest is a locally owned and operated company, serving Tipton, Shelby, and Fayette counties in West Tennessee. We are looking for an energetic, honest, reliable, and self-motivated individual who want to work hard and be paid for their productivity. The sky is the limit here. The harder you work, the more money you will make!

What We Do:

We provide lawn care and pest control services to residential and commercial customers.

Our technicians apply weed control products and fertilizers to keep our clients’ lawns healthy and weed-free. They also perform pest control services to prevent insects from getting into our clients’ homes.

What You’ll Do

Visually inspect and treat lawns for weeds

Operate equipment to apply fertilizers and pesticides

Maintain good customer relationships

Maintain chemical records according to state requirements

Participate in team meetings

Complete certification and continuing education requirements

Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures

Keep our equipment and vehicles clean and in good working condition

Requirements

Honest, Reliable and Dependable

C03 and C07 certified with the state of TN- you do not have to be certified to apply

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Able to walk customer property while carrying or pushing equipment weighing over 70 lbs. for long periods of time in hot or cold temperatures

Show up to work on time and ready to work every day that you are scheduled

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours

Hours: You can expect to work between 30 to 50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday some Saturdays are required

Pay Scale The sky is the limit! The more you do, the more you will make! For people with no experience we start at $15/hour. Once certified in C03 and C07, you will be paid $18/hour and when you get your own route, you will be paid a percentage of the work you get done.
